How can a toaster murder, it doesn't have any hands?
Anna's boyfriend has been murdered, by a demonically possessed toaster. She tries to get rid of it but fails - it just keeps coming back.
Calling on her disbelieving friend Fiona, they try to convince the toaster to "go into the light" in a bizarre attempt to get approval from the AI in charge of the local Atomiser, to disintegrate it once and for all.
